Imagine being a Ghostbuster for the day! After three lots of open-heart surgery following a complex heart condition, eight-year-old George had to be brave, and so took on the important task of being a Ghostbuster for his wish. The characters in the films are brave too, which inspired him to take on this mighty task. George, from Harrogate in West Yorkshire, couldn’t wait to go ghost hunting and have a ride in an ECTO-1 car!
George's wish has been granted, but there are many more children in the North East who are still waiting for their wish. So we're asking for your help.
When a child is diagnosed with a critical condition, it changes their life and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end.
